Wow! Firstly - apologies for the delay, my jaunt back to Blightly meant that LMS had to go on the back burner for a week. Now, let's have a look at what happened...
Week 8 was pretty tame, as we lost only 2 from the 12 - Ian B on an Oxford draw giving him his 2nd yellow and Lee P on a straight Red by plumping on the Brummies in blue. Week 9 however was a massacre!
Andy M, with what I'm sure he's calling shrewd early picks, was the only person who chose Man City; though both Keeley C and Shane S could (and should) have picked them. Mat B, Richard P and Andy K all lost their 8 week winning streak by hitting draws and are now on the bubble and it's a fond goodbye and thanks for the memories to Keely C, Shane S, Byron Daryl F, Antony W and Paul W - all out on 2nd yellows.
The amazing facts as we draw to the to end of this roller-coaster ride are simply:

I can smell LMS week 10 producing a winner (or - for the 52 that are out - fingers crossed for a rollover!). Good luck for week 10 to the 4 remaining players - may you all pick the same team and may that team lose or draw, amen.
